In 2000, the world was changing before our eyes.  Web 1.0 was upon us and new business models were being introduced almost every hour.

NASDAQ was at an all time high fueled by tech co’s.

We were quickly grasping the idea that anything was possible…  many problems could be solved by this “internet.”

One night, I was out to dinner with some friends in the East Village and we started talking to our waitress, who happened to be an actress.

She told us the challenge she had sharing her head shots and portfolio of work to casting agents.  It got us thinking that was a problem we could solve in this brand new digital economy.

Later that summer at Ryan’s Irish Pub, my buddy Matt and I drew this site map.

MySpace was sold to Newscorp for $580 million in 2005.

Execution is so important because vision without execution is hallucination.
