I’ve done a lot of things wrong but have done a lot of things right.
The key is finding what you are truly passionate about, so you can get behind it and motor through all the bumps in the road on your journey.
JK Rowling on failure, “You might never fail on the scale I did, but some failure in life is inevitable. It is impossible to live without failing at something, unless you live so cautiously that you might as well not have lived at all – in which case, you fail by default.”
Bill Gates once said, “Success is a lousy teacher. It seduces people into thinking they can’t lose.”
If Oprah, Abe Lincoln, JK Rowling, Dr. Suess or Walt Disney didn’t keep going after failing/being told that they should do something else, they never would have succeeded.

Always ask for the tough road. You will find out what you are capable of and it will test your limits. It will also help you determine if you are focusing on something you are truly passionate about because if so, you will continue with no question.
I did a lot of things wrong over the years, but this is one of the things I did right. Although I didn’t capitalize financially on the 25k monthly visitors we had at our peak, neighborbeeBLOG has led to many new opportunities, like social selling (which I didn’t know existed at the time).
I knew in my heart that it was the right path despite not achieving the financial windfall I was hoping for.
So thank you failure, because without you, I wouldn’t have learned about courage, commitment and resolve.
The experience I gained from failing has helped me to avoid the brutal mistakes I’ve made in the past and formulate strategies for success.
What have you failed in that your passionate about?
